Interesting Color / Personality Text

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Found this on http://www.big-limos.com/what-your-limo-color-says-about-your-personality/

Black - Many people assume that the color black symbolizes nothingness, when in fact black is truly the opposite of that. Those attracted to the color tend to be comfortable in situations that would give others anxiety, they appreciate attention, avoid confrontation and appreciate simplicity.

Apart that I sometimes look for confrontation, it fits me very well.

1) Which author do you own the most books by?
Jason Dark (aka Helmut Rellergerd) 99 books & 900 "novelettes", Glen A. Larson 20 books, L.J. Smith 15 books, James Patterson 10 books, P.N. Elrod (10 books)

2) What book do you own the most copies of?
I got the German Translation of some of my Battlestar Galactica Books, but I do not really own the same book twice. Oh wait, there is Order of the Phoenix in the kiddie edition that I have not sold yet? Any takers? I prefer my adult edition! Black and nice ...

3) Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions?
OMG, yes, totally I shall never get over it [/sarcasm]

4) What fictional character are you secretly in love with?
Hmm, secretly in love, there are many I find cool, but book characters I love
and where the book is the original source ... hmm, let me think about it ...

5) What book have you read the most times in your life?
Michael Ende's Der Wunschpunsch

6) What was your favorite book when you were ten years old?
Michael Ende's Der Wunschpunsch

7) What is the worst book you've read in the past year?
If I limit this too books that were bad and that I actually finished, that would be "Blackbox" by Benjamin Stuckrad-Barre - boy this sucked sooo badly.

8) What is the best book you've read in the past year?
Naturally I am biased but "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman

9) If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be?
I would never force anyone to read a book, reading should be fun, but if I could recommend one, I guess it would be "Anno Dracula" (for people with knowledge in classic literature) or "The night inside" (for newbies to vampire and classic literature) two very good vampire novels with a far more romantic romance than anything Stephanie Meyers could come up with.

10) Who deserves to win the next Nobel Prize for Literature?
I do not really care about Nobel Prizes, the Oscar or whatever else is handed out these days.

11) What book would you most like to see made into a movie?
I love to see a re-make of "Prisoner of Azkaban" and with the same actors for Snape, Sirius and Lupin, just with a script that actually allows them to bring those marvellous scenes from the book to life, instead of the watered down, embarassing, music dominated atrocity I had to witness.

12) What book would you least like to see made into a movie?
I could name a few books that I loathed being made into one, but before hand, you never know if the movie is going to stink or not.

13) Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character.

14) What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult?
If lowbrow refers to a piece of work that is bottom niveau of fanfiction.net, then I have started to read Twilight, I just could not bear to finish it. Might do so one day.

15) What is the most difficult book you've ever read?
The Handmaid's Tale - scary stuff

16) What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen?
I have been spared from an ordeal like that, except for a few scenes on Star Trek: TNG, seriously I do not like Shakespeare.

17) Do you prefer the French or the Russians?
I can not say, I am not that familiar with Russian literature, what little more I know about French is that I find the older stuff entertaining, I loathe the newer stuff.

18) Roth or Updike? Updike

19) David Sedaris or Dave Eggers?
I have not read anything from either of them.

20) Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer?
Neither of them, ever again, please!

21) Austen or Eliot?
Austen, any time of the day!

22) What is the biggest or most embarrassing gap in your reading?
I don't believe in embarassing reading gaps.

23) What is your favorite novel?
I do not have one absolute favourite, but definite favourites are: Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, Der Wunschpunsch by Michael Ende, Forbidden Games by L.J. Smith, Dark Visions by L.J. Smith, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Night Inside by Nancy Baker, Anno Dracula by Kim Newman and many many more ...

24) Play?
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

25) Poem?
I am not much of poem fan, blame it on school, occassionally there are a few I stumble upon and like, one that comes to mind would be "My Duchess" by Robert Browning. Otherwise I like the funny little poems of Heinz Erhardt (a german comedian), especially the one called "Kunibert".

26) Essay?
Haven't yet read an essay that knocked me off my feat.

27) Short story?
"The House of a Hundred Windows" by Mark Anthony is the one that pops to mind instantly, but there are others I like just as much.

28) Work of nonfiction?
Have not really thought about this, might update this later on.

29) Who is your favorite writer?
Again there is not one absolute favourite author, I would have to name Neil Gaiman, James Patterson, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, L.J. Smith, Nigel Findley

30) Who is the most overrated writer alive today?
Stephani Meyer, because her writing stinks, her dream world is poorer developed than mine in Kindergarden and anyone who glorifies abusing women like she does, ought to be slapped silly till they realise abusive boy-friends are not romantic!

31) What is your desert island book?
Depends on my mood, but Anno Dracula or Neverwhere are good guesses, otherwise just look at the rest of my favourites.

32) And...what are you reading right now?
The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius (German Translation)

2.Buffy the Vampire SlayerI love all three seasons that were made (after that the garbage just does not exist for me)
1.The SimpsonsSeen a lot of episodes, it's not bad, but I would not voluntarily put it in or switch it on

You know why this list sucks? Not because I don't like the Simpsons, can't believe a show like Buffy, where characters change personalities like underwear can be considered good, but any list that has dreck with assholes like the team of CSI before Criminal Minds can't be good. Seriously Criminal Minds is the best show currently produced, it makes CSI look like the pimple on Quasimodos ass with all their arrogant, spiteful leads - but I guess seeing people behave like assholes toward each other is what makes shows great for most people.

Yeah, I still don't feel to hot, but I guess I better try and eat something - my stomach is asking for it and then read on for tomorrow.

Which Goddess lurks in your soul?

My Results:

Hecate

You hold more power in your little finger than most do in their entire being! Hecate is perhaps the most selective of all deities who inhabit the souls of mortals. Being the goddess of the crossroads, Cosmic Knowledge, and of course witches and magic she can’t be bothered by residing in the souls of the mundane. She often chooses those who practice the craft of the old ways and those who harbor deep mystical secrets that must be kept close. Your soul is old, perhaps having been present at the birth of the cosmos in some form or another. Your ability to comprehend the necessity of death and it’s beauty have awakened a connection to the underworld, where Hecate has been known to reign and you relish this otherworldly bond. Darkness suits you well, as many of the best secrets of the cosmos can be found there.

Slept badly last night, went to bed straight after the lessons, but had to pic up my mom after her surgery, so now I am up again. She is okay, too - at least for now while her toe is still numb.

You Are Sudoku

You are simple, modern and elegant.

You're not that difficult to figure out, but very few people truly get you.

You approach the world with a pure logic that most people will never grasp.

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

you are mediumauqamarine
#66CDAA

Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.
